On the 14th and 15th of October, the Cities Coalition for Digital Rights (CC4DR) came together in Amsterdam where the Deputy Mayor for digitalization of Sofia Municipality Gencho Kerezov participated in the first-ever political meeting since the coalition was established back in 2018. One of the actions coming out of the meeting is a Digital Rights Governance Framework, of which a first version will be published on the 10th of December, International Human Rights Day.

The Deputy Mayor for Digitalization of Sofia Gencho Kerezov will have the honour of being part of the panel discussion “Cities exchange digital know-how”, organized by Digital Days of Vienna 2021. The kick-off meeting of the participating cities from Korea and Europe, which are approved under the Program for International and Regional Cooperation (IURC), was held on September 30th. The focus of the program is on areas that are of key interest for the development of Sofia and are directly related to the environmental transition and the Green Deal.
