These are the projects we are currently working on
City Services via the Unified Model for e-Services
Sofia Municipality will begin offering administrative services via the Unified Model for Application, Payment and Provision of Electronic Administrative Services developed by the State e-Government Agency. Four pilot districts will be the first to start offering over 70 electronic administrative services as of this June. The remaining 20 districts will be joining the Unified Model over the next six months.
100 Intelligent Cities Challenge
After the success of the Digital Cities Challenge (DCC), the European Commission launched the follow-up project, 100 Intelligent Cities Challenge, in March 2020. The new project will have an even wider scope and will involve more cities. Being part of the existing DCC network of cities, Sofia was invited to apply for the successor initiative.
BLOOMBERG PHILANTHROPIES
In 2020, the City of Sofia alongside 20 other European cities was invited to take part in 'Bloomberg Philanthropies Digital Innovation Initiative 2020-2022' – an international training on digital transformation management in European cities. 
WiFi4EU
WiFi4EU is an initiative of the European Commission aiming to promote free Wi-Fi connectivity for citizens and visitors in public spaces such as parks, squares, public building, libraries, health centres, and museums everywhere in Europe.
PolicyCLOUD
Since the beginning of 2020, Sofia Municipality has been participating in the 870675 PolicyCLOUD project - Managing the Lifelong Policy of Data through Cloud Technologies (Policy management through technologies across the complete data lifecycle on cloud environments)” on the topic: "Piloting the European Cloud Infrastructure for Public Administrations" of Horizon 2020.
