The event for career and creative development in the field of culture, arts and creative industries SlavConf. will celebrate its 5th anniversary edition on 29^th and 30^th of October 2021 in a fully virtual format. The team of “Digitalization, Innovation and Economic Development” of Sofia Municipality (Innovative Sofia) is an institutional partner of the event and will participate with a virtual stand where the participants will have the opportunity to learn about the successful practices and projects.

The history of the event begins at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” as a career forum of the Faculty of Slavic Studies. As the event is gaining more and more international popularity, in 2020 the format of SlavConf. becomes completely virtual with participants from over 15 countries.

The theme of the anniversary edition is “Reinforcement” and reflects on the sustainability of the creative industries. The program will include the best professionals related to business, arts, technology, journalism, music, architecture, gaming, philology, etc., who will seek solutions to contemporary issues and present their successful ideas and practices. Participants are from all over the world and the official language of the event will be English.
