Deputy Mayor Gencho Kerezov is a Panelist in the forum for Big Data and Artificial Intelligence, organized by GATE
The second GATE Big Data and Artificial Intelligence Forum (BDAIF2021) will take place on 8 and 9 December 2021 online. It aims to share exciting scientific results and technological advances, present different perspectives, create opportunities to connect with the research and innovation community and promote new collaborations. The event is organized jointly by GATE Institute – Bulgaria and Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden.
BDAIF2021 will present how big data and AI can help address pressing social and economic challenges in the context of GATE’s focus: Future Cities, Digital Health and Smart Government. The two high-level visionary panels on the first day are dedicated to Data Spaces and Ethical, Explainable and Trustworthy AI. The three panels of the second day focus on Digital Twin Cities, Digital Health and Disinformation.
The Deputy Mayor for Digitalization of Sofia Municipality Gencho Kerezov will have the pleasure to be part of the panel discussion “Digital Twin Cities: Inclusion and Value Added Opportunities”, which will take place on December 9 from 11:30. You can find the whole program of the event here.
The panels will be presented with keynote notes from influential researchers and innovators, followed by inspiring discussions by prominent international speakers and interesting opportunities for collaboration and value creation for stakeholders. During the two-day event, GATE researchers will demonstrate their findings and successful practices and results through short video formats that will be displayed between the panels. The event will also offer many opportunities for interaction within the GATE ecosystem and the wider community.
GATE BDAIF2021 aims to use the potential of the innovative Bulgarian ecosystem in Big Data and AI and to achieve significant local and European influence.
