Robotics Strategy Forum 2021: Development of high technologies in Bulgaria
This year’s Robotics Strategy Forum will be held on September 29 at 9 p.m. until 5 p.m., in Sofia Tech Park. The Department of Digitalization, Innovation and Economic Development (Innovative Sofia) is an institutional partner of the organizers of the event – PARA (Professional Association of Robotics and Automation).
The forum will be opened by the deputy mayor of digitalization of Sofia Gencho Kerezov and the executive director of BSMEPA Dr. Boyko Takov. This year’s theme is “From robots and automated systems to batteries and chips.”
Topics that will be covered during the event are:
The global shortage of chips – can Bulgaria join the global supply chains and how;
The European plan for battery production – the opportunities for Bulgaria in the face of electric mobility;
Trends in robotics – the progress of autonomous systems and the accelerated implementation of robots;
Industrial automation – new projects and their development in our country.
The event will be held in a hybrid form with online lectures presented on the Facebook and YouTube pages of PARA, as well as an expo part, which anyone who has booked a free ticket will be able to visit. You can get your ticket here.
At the beginning of the forum, PARA will announce the results of the survey on the level of automation in Bulgarian industry, where all Bulgarian entrepreneurs can take part until September 24. A link to the questions can be found here.
During the event over 25 exhibitors will present different types of robots – from flying robots of FESTO, to industrial, medical, collaborative and native developments.
