During the Marriage Week International, Sofia Municipality created new online opportunities for newlyweds on the website of the Sofia Hall for Joyful Rites. Couples can now organise the wedding day entirely online on the new site svatbi.sofia.bg, launched not by chance on Valentine’s Day itself.

The website development is part of the pilot projects in our programme “Sandbox for Innovative Solutions”. The small administrative units’ work was transformed into a unified system, replacing the existing accounting, registration, and current electronic reservation service.

 

The following opportunities have already been activated in the new site of the Sofia Hall for Joyful Rites:

– calendar of available dates review;

– online reservation of a ceremony hall;

– rich gallery of photos of the halls;

– important information for newlyweds;

– additional ceremony services, e.g. sound system, etc.

The new online services are in line with the complex COVID-19 environment and the introduced anti-epidemic measures. 

Since the beginning of 2021, more than 220 marriages have taken place in the Sofia five Wedding Ceremonies Hall.
