The digitalization of secondary education in Sofia, supported by Sofia Municipality, has received new international recognition.

 

Acer, the world leader in the production of devices, dedicated a blog post to the II English Language High School “Thomas Jefferson”, commenting on the successful integration of technology in the educational process. The manufacturer tells more about the school’s work on introducing the “One-to-One” model with a device for each teacher and student with the assistance of the “Center for Creative Training” team. 

The high school is one of the 16 schools developing the model supported by Sofia Municipality and the Regional Department of Education, which received funding from Sofia Municipality for certifying teachers in international programmes.

Thanks to the effective implementation of technology, digitalization of the administrative and educational process, II English Language High School “Thomas Jefferson” was announced as the first Google reference school in Sofia.

Sofia Municipality provided funding to the II English Language High School “Thomas Jefferson” to purchase personal devices for all teachers.
