Innovative Sofia will take part in the panel discussion “Solutions for e-administration”, which is part of the conference “Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security”
The international conference “Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security” which will be organized in a hybrid format, will be held on September 27 and 28, 2021. The aim of the conference is to stimulate an international debate on the challenges and opportunities facing the digital transition in Bulgaria. The organizers of the event are the Digital National Alliance, the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Bulgaria, the Bulgarian Diplomatic Institute and the partner organizations NATO Public Diplomacy Division and AI Cluster Bulgaria.
The event will bring together representatives of the executive branch, cyber security experts, and ICT businesses and representatives of leading international organizations, including the European Commission, the OECD and NATO. The conference also aims to contribute to Bulgaria’s ongoing efforts to prepare for OECD membership and to present industry best practices as well as international standards.
The conference was organized alongside the idea of creating a public and interactive discussion between the private and public sectors. More than 100 online participants are expected to be represented by spokesman of the public sector and administration, as well as specific stakeholders on the topic – governments, military, experts in the field of information and communication technologies and security, and representatives of academic institutions.
The team of Digitalization, Innovations and Economic Development (Innovative Sofia) will take part in the panel discussion “Solutions for e-government”, which will be held on the second day of the conference. Deputy Mayor for Digitalization of Sofia Gencho Kerezov will have the opportunity to present the already integrated practices by Sofia Municipality, which lead to the transformation of Sofia into a “smart” city.
